Please tell me how the baby can possibly be 7 months already! The time is really flying by. It is amazing to watch him interact with people and his toys now. He is so aware of his surroundings! He just can not seem to take enough of the world around him in. His eyes stay in a constant state of wonder, and I hope he always looks at the world this way! He is truly a blessing, and we couldn’t be enjoying him more!

Here are some things we want to remember about this age:

• You weigh just over 16 lbs and are 28 inches long. (Tall and Skinny!)
• You have finally decided that you are a roller.
• You love your jumper.
• You are a great eater.
• You can say dada.
• You love to play on the floor with your toys.
• You love your exersaucer, but can’t understand by you don’t bounce like when you are in your jumper.
• You love to play Peek-a-boo.
• You “sing” yourself to sleep.
• You are a great eater.
• You still only cry when you need a bottle, diaper, or ready for sleep.
• You love to kick!
• You have the most ADORABLE smile that you cover with your tongue.
• You reach and grab anything that is within your reach.
• You are still mesmorized with the camera, so we can not capture that smile!
• You reach for us to pick you up.
• You are amazing and the best thing in our lives!

Sweet Bunny Feet!

The baby’s new favorite activity is to swing! My sister gave us the baby swing and thankfully we have a play set in the back yard! I think we will be spending a lot of hours out here in the future!

This past week we found a nest of baby cottontail bunnies. They were just the cutest little things. This evening we discovered that they had all died sometime during the night. It was heartbreaking to find them.

We had a great spring break filled with family, friends, and food! The Friday we got out, we headed down to my parents to drop of the dogs and then headed down to South Texas to my hometown. It was so fun to have a lot of my childhood friends meet the baby for the first time! After a couple of days there, we headed back to my parents and spent the rest of the week with all of my nieces and nephews! The baby LOVES his cousins and could not get enough of them! I am so grateful that he has so many kids on my side of the family to play with. It is really neat watching all of them interact with the baby! Here are some pictures of our week!

• You LOVE LOVE LOVE your baby food and will eat all veggies and fruits
• You continue to sleep through the night most of the time (other nights you get up just once)
• You really notice your puppies now and try to grab them when they get close
• You love your exersaucer
• You love to chew on your softer toys-no teething rings for you!
• You have the most adorable laugh
• You are still such a good baby and hardly ever cry
• You will lay in your bed in the mornings and sing and play for about 30 minutes. We try to sleep but end up listening to you and just giggling!
• You are mesmorized by any technology
• You are the best thing we have ever done!
